BTW...we're not Anti-Modern Church

Thought that would capture your attention. Really we're not. We need modern churches just as much as we need postmodern churches. Funny, not really, but funny that i regularly have leaders in the modern church tell me how they feel disrespected by the emergent churches. First of all, I apologize. I regret if anyone from the emergent church has ever acted "too cool for school" or implied that the modern church is not relevant. That is certainly not my position or view. Nor is it the view of any other emergent pastors that i'm personally aware of. (If you know of some who are please let me know.) Again, just different is all. See the Neverland blog. On another note I could just as easily say, we feel the same. Many emergent leaders feel disrespected and alienated simply for wanting to try something different.

Now, on to better news...God is on the move. Its exciting to see what He's doing throughout the world. I was convicted while i was in Argentina recently. The church is growing so quickly there and ... they dont even do any marketing. It's all prayer, worship, and evangelism. These are timeless spiritual truths regardless of what era we're living in. May we all simply carpe diem wherever God has us. Love.
